Queer For Cities is out to make queer a joyful norm.

Who gets to feel safe, celebrated, and seen in our cities? That’s a design question. How we build tells a story—about who we value, and who we leave out.

Queer For Cities is queering the systems, practices, and perceptions that shape how we build, connect, and thrive—in the places we live and move through.

I founded Queer For Cities as a platform to celebrate, amplify, and design queer realities and possibilities in our neighborhoods and beyond. What began as a podcast is evolving into a growing hub—one rooted in equity, creativity, and liberation—where stories, strategies, and space-making converge.

When we design cities for queer and trans people to thrive, we design better cities for everyone. Queering our approach to development helps us reimagine the built environment—not as something fixed, but as something fluid, co-created, and full of possibility.
